The event will be focusing in particular on hearing physiology and pathology, as well as prevention, care and hygiene. Other subjects to be covered by expert speakers will be analogue and digital sound in the speeches delivered at our conferences, hearing conditions and suitable tests to monitor our hearing condition.
Members have also been invited to participate in a specially designed research study on “Loss of hearing, tinnitus and hyperacusis in professional interpreters” which is undertaken by the 1st ENT Department of the Hippokration Hospital to investigate the existence of hearing problems among professional simultaneous interpreters.
