« What the hell!? Did they really just say that? » – How to handle offensive content when interpreting

November 13, 2026 14:00 – 16:00

In person

04109 Leipzig, Germany, Neues Rathaus, Martin-Luther-Ring

Illustration with the text “What the hell?! Did they really just say that?” alongside an angry cartoon interpreter wearing a headset and a speech bubble containing censored swear words. We have both good and sad news to share. Following last year’s tremendously successful online webinar, we are delighted to announce that we will be holding an in-person event in Leipzig on 13 November 2026.

The event will take place in the context of the 1trial-4languages exhibition.

The bad and sad news is that we won’t have Eva Bodor there with us. She was instrumental in setting everything up and bringing all of us together. We’re holding the event to honour Eva, and we miss her as an amazing person with all her wisdom, warmth, grace and sense of humour.
